Top Ten Tuesday-Must Read 2018

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!  http://www.brokeandbookish.com/

NB: I don't follow or leave comments on blogs run by Google Plus, or DISQUS as I refuse to join something just to leave comments, and I won't allow them to follow new people, update my profile or post tweets 'on my behalf'. I won't comment on any blog that makes me sign in using another account.

This week it's all about books we planned to read in 2017 but never got round to and MUST read this year! This is to showcase the different genres I want to be reading next year.

1) George RR Martin-A Dance With Dragons

2) Cynthia Hand-My Lady Jane

3) Kevin Hearne-Beseiged

4) Hunter Shea-Megalodon in Paradise

5) Nicholas Sansbury Smith-Hell Divers

6) Carrie Fisher-The Princess Diarist

7) Nicholas Sansbury Smith-Extinction War

8) Jack Kilborn-Endurance

9) Ryan Graudin-Wolf by Wolf

10) GS Denning-A Study in Brimstone

  1. I should try to get to My Lady Jane and Megalodon in Paradise this year as well. After my last Shea read wasn't what I really expected, I need to bounce back with another one of his! I love that you always have such interesting variety.

    1. I'm hoping to get a lot of things read that I didn't get to last year but the numbers are a bit overwhelming! I've at least made a start to the Kitty Norville series...need to get book 4 looked at next, then get on with a bit of an ebook blitz I think!

  3. I read 1 Martin book last year. It would be really awesome if I could read the rest this year. I’m not sure how realistic that is, though. They’re so massive! I can’t read that fast.

    1. They do take time to get through don't they! I've just got the second part of A Dance With Dragons to read and I'm all caught up but not for a while yet! I need to focus on some shorter books for now!

  4. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Dance with Dragons, especially all the stuff that didn't make it into the show. I've only read one Kevin Hearne book but I liked it. Hunter Shea I may try based on your reviews...

    1. I need to get on with my reviews for the GoT books but I took so many notes that it'll take me a while to wade through it! Hunter Shea is good for quick creature feature type books...lots more of him on my list this year!

    1. I'm struggling to decide what I'm the mood to read next. I want to read the Trump book but it isn't on any of my challenge lists!

  8. I vote to push Wolf by Wolf and A Study in Brimstone to the top of the priority list! A Dance with Dragons too, but it's not like the next book is in any hurry to be released, so I'm sure you'll have plenty of time, lol.

    1. I'll Think I might leave the last GRRM book maybe to next month so I can plough through some shorter books to get on with the other challenges. I haven't quite worked out what I want to read next...too many to choose from!

  9. I really want to read Carrie Fisher, too. I hope you make it through some of this list in 2018.
