Stacking The Shelves is all about
sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical
or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store
or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books,
gifts and of course ebooks! Click on the link under the book to find its page on Goodreads or Smashwords.
Please note that I always leave a

sometimes,
I have problems leaving messages on blogs hosted by

This was a good week for reading and for book purchases! Yea, I love that kind of week! I am continuing with my Mountain Month of May, trying to work my way through the mountain expedition books that have been on my tbr for years. I have so much enjoyed getting back to read these books and I'm motoring along. I would be doing real damage to the tbr this month if I hadn't been buying MORE mountain books to feed the obsession! Ah well, I've lost control and I admit it! Anyway, I'm pleased with the haul this week!
So what did I get? More bargain mountain short stories, mountain paperbacks, a couple of zombie books, a couple of biographies AND a few books by new to me authors-Joseph Nassise and John Conroe! I'm pretty excited by the sound of these books! And so is my dad...He likes the sound of Nazi zombies and an undead Red Baron...

Nice haul - The Heretic and By The Blood of Heroes are both on my TBR list, but I've yet give Nassise a read.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty excited by the sound of these books! I hadn't heard of him before this week (thank you Amazon recommendations!)
DeleteI'm always amazed by the amount of books in your haul. ha! Hope you enjoy these when you get around to them!
ReplyDeleteI just hope I get round to them this century!
DeleteWoah so many books!! XD Congrats on working on getting on top of your TBR though. ;-) I...sort of am? I mean, I WAS, and then, kaboom all my library reserves came in at once. GAH. And I've read all the little books, so I'm left with all these massive ones. It's daunting!
ReplyDeleteMy Stacking the Shelves!
I was on top of Mount tbr but now I have been buried by a bookalanche and I'm struggling to dig myself out of it! I know what you mean about those big books-I have things like Wolf Hall and Game of Thrones giving me the evil eye...
DeleteGreat Haul, love the whole zombie and out doors theme of this haul might have to look into some of them.

I love zombies and I love reading mountain expeditions...I'm just waiting for a zombies on mountain book now!
DeleteI see so many great books in your pile this week. I hope you love all of them. Thanks for stopping by my STS.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love
My pile excites me every week-I guess the good news is that I do really want to read every one of these books! Now I just need to find the time AND my wall charger for my Kindle which has gone AWOL again...
DeleteYou sure did have a good week! That's quite and impressive haul! It almost makes me want to go hiking...ALMOST. I'm definitely more likely to read about it. I hope next week is awesome! Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteMichelle @ Michelle's Minions
I agree, it ALMOST makes you want to get out and walk! The only exercise I get is my fingers turning the book pages...
DeleteAwesome haul! Hope you enjoy them all :D I love getting new books, but then I see the stacks of old books I should have read before buying the new books... it's a vicious circle! Have a fab weekend, and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThe size of my tbr is depressing but exciting at the same time. I so need to get it down below 500 books before the end of this year, then I might feel as if I'm making progress!
DeleteSometimes, your hauls make me feel better about mine. *grin* I hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteNow I have purpose! An excuse to buy! *sniggers* Oh I'm so out of control right now it's scary!
Deletewow I'm impressed, so many books and they're all new to me!!!! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI have some reading planned for tonight if I can get the darn Kindle recharged. Doing it through the computer is so slow but I can't find my wall charger!!! It's panic here right now!
DeleteYou certainly did get a lot this week! Wow. Although I am no better. Always buying and taking on more that I should . I am now going to have to look into Vertical and a couple others here.... I hope you enjoy all these. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteHere are my newest additions.
I get mad at my buying until I see the great sounding books and I start grinning like a kid in a sweet shop!
DeleteOh dang, you've got a huge haul there. Wow! Enjoy. :)
ReplyDeleteBeth @ Perpetual New Girl
Yes I'm very bad! *grins*
DeleteWow, when you said mountain, I thought you were being figurative.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your climb and the rest of the weekend!
Yep, only reading mountain books this months-I need to save up my zombies for another day!
DeleteHi Chuckles!
ReplyDeleteThe Jane Hawking book Travelling to Infinity looks good, I saw the movie so it might be worth a read.
I was a bit nervous of clicking on that link to God Touched, lol. I was thinking... it might look really good, it looks like my kind of thing (yes, only from the cover and title), but what if it's scary?! I'll have to get a pole to keep it away... ha ha! Luckily it looks like my kind of genre! Whoop! I like a good urban supernatural tale.
Have a great week!
Amy x
I do like some demon filled urban fantasy!
DeleteGreat bunch of books. Glad you are enjoying your mountain may project. So will October be Zombie month? It'll keep my eyes open for new ones for you.
ReplyDeleteWell, next month is going to be 'complete that series' month. I have about 4 series that I plan to target and get caught up with. October will certainly be a horror theme of some kind so I think there could well be zombies...
DeleteWow, look at all those Snow-ish books! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wish I could climb some of those gorgeous mountains but it's safer to just read about it!
DeleteYou are really rocking the mountain reads. :D Hope you continue to have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting lots read-now I just need to get control of the buying!
