Stacking the Shelves #29

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Last week I was still doing a Kobo blitz, trying to get my tbr books read. I am happy to report that in 9 days, my tbr has been reduced from 997 to 963, which I am pretty pleased with! It would have been more if I hadn't bought a few books this week. *sigh* I have little restraint! It's a good start at least. I've taken a couple of days off reading now just to relax in front of the TV but plan to get back to it tonight. I have LOADS of reviews to get written for them which is a bit daunting and I'm way behind of that so extra effort is needed to tackle that this week! I'm really hoping that this summer I'll be able to tackle the physical and digital tbr and get the pile down by another 150 books. Quite a target but I really do need to get on with it. Wish me luck!!!

  6. I'm very tempted to try Devon Monk. On the other hand, I think I'm tempted to try just about every book I see... (Well, not really, or the library really would never be rid of me.)

I hope you enjoy these! Have a good week.

    1. I'm so far behind with Devon Monk! I've got the Allie books to read before I can get on to this series! Sometimes I wonder if I'll EVER catch up with all these books and series...

  7. You have so many books to read! Maybe consider a book buying ban. :P

    1. I'm on a semi ban...I don't buy any Kindle book over 77p so most are free downloads (doesn't help the tbr pile though!). I've had to pre-order the latest books in series I'm following and a few new cool series...*sigh* not much of a ban really...!

    1. Yeah what is it with scary ass clowns??? My mum could never persuade me to go to the circus as a kid because the thought of them coming near me scared me rigid!

    1. Yes, those were all books in my house or on my computer! It scared me senseless so I figured I better do something about it! I started with the Kobo because of all the shorter stories so I thought that would help the total go down quicker! This was why I was worried about getting an ereader in the first place! *giggles*
